Koginut season is finally upon us ✨ Roasted and served up as prescribed with bitter greens and persimmon pomegranate salsa (à la@suzannegoin.) Always a favorite.
Locally grown koginut squash! Have you tried it yet? This is a newer, very trendy, variety that is like a creamier, smoother, sweeter butternut. 🧡 Just like with most other squash varieties, roasting really concentrates the flavor and gives you delicious caramelized outsides, and soft, steamed flesh on the inside.
This small, intensely flavorful mini Koginut squash lends itself well to assertive flavors such as basil, cilantro, peanut, lemongrass, coconut, ginger, lime. etc. the dish practically builds itself.

IT'S ALWAYS ICE CREAM SEASON
Roasted Koginut Squash Ice Cream is hittin' menu tonight! This squash was developed by @row7seeds and grown by @kgfarmer with the perfect amount of earthy sweetness for this dessert. Top it off with a toasted marshmallow by @assembly_needed_recording and call it a night.
